The ‘Bully Bai’ app on the open-source platform GitHub was used to upload photos of hundreds of Muslim women without their consent for a virtual ‘auction’. The app caused massive outrage in India.

Bulli Bai App Developer Neeraj Bishnoi Arrested by Delhi Police.

A woman lodged a complaint at the Cyber Police Station in South-East Delhi after the news of the Bulli Bai app surfaced. She alleged that her picture was uploaded by the Twitter handle @bullibai_ and others. Accordingly, an FIR was registered.

Police raided in Jorhat, Assam, and arrested Neeraj Bishnoi on Thursday. During interrogation, he revealed that he had created the controversial app on GitHub. Furthermore, he admitted to creating the Twitter handle @bullibai_ among others.

Neeraj Bishnoi told police that the GitHub app was developed in November 2021 and was finally updated the following month. The Twitter account was created on December 31st. He added that he has also created an account @Sage0x1 to tweet about the app.

Who is Neeraj Bishnoi?

Neeraj Bishnoi is a second-year B.Tech student from Vellore Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He has been suspended from his college. After admission, his college did not open due to covid. He was studying from home. Neeraj’s family has denied any such act of the accused. The family says that sometime back Neeraj had gone to Rajasthan for a wedding. From there he returned via Delhi on 25 December.

Neeraj has revealed that he had created a Twitter handle to promote bullies by the app. After this, on December 31, another handle was created and started tweeting. When the matter came into the limelight, Neeraj was constantly keeping an eye on the news. After the arrest of Mumbai Police, the accused had taunted the Mumbai Police by tweeting.

According to the order, pre-school and classes from 1st to 8th will be closed and they will be conducted through online medium. Apart from this, classes from ninth to 12th will be conducted with 50 percent capacity. These restrictions will be in force from January 6 to January 21. 

It has been said in the order that due to the third wave of the corona epidemic, cases have increased in many states of the country. The status of corona infection in the state was reviewed on Tuesday. It was found that here too there has been an unprecedented increase in the cases of the covid-19 epidemic in the last few days.

Permission to work in offices with 50 percent capacity
According to the new rules, all government and non-government offices will open with 50 percent capacity. Visitors will not be allowed to enter government offices. All shops and establishments will be allowed to open till 8 pm only. In these, relief has been given to e-commerce services.

Apart from the ban imposed on these services, including all religious places, all religious places will remain closed for devotees. Cinemas, shopping malls, clubs, swimming pools, gyms, parks, and gardens will remain completely closed. Restaurants will be allowed to operate with 50 percent capacity. But it will be mandatory to have full vaccination of all the employees here.

Maximum 50 people will be allowed to attend the marriage ceremony. There will be a ban on taking out DJ and procession processions. Prior intimation about the marriage program has to be given at least three days in advance to the local police station. Only a maximum of 50 people will be able to attend the funeral.

JSSC Vacancy 2021 : Age, Exam Fee

Applicants’ age limit should be between 21 years to 35 years to apply for Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Recruitment. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit for the reserved category as per rules. The SC and ST category candidates who belong to the Jharkhand state applying for this recruitment will have to pay an application fee of Rs.50. At the same time, the general and other category candidates will have to deposit Rs 100 as an application fee.

IPL Auction 2022

This 15th session of IPL, BCCI will hold mega IPL Auction 2022 between 7 February and 8 February 2022. Last year, for IPL 2021 only a mini-auction was held because of covid but for IPL 2022 there are huge changes going to happen before the session start.
